This course is designed to help you become a more empathetic and effective teacher, employee, and community leader (i.e., a changemaker!).   Personal Empowerment, a Course on Emotional Intelligence, is designed to help adults develop their own emotional intelligence skills so you can thrive in your personal and professional lives.  

You will learn:      

• The research behind the benefits of emotional intelligence (EQ)    

• How to skillfully identify emotions in yourself and those around you

 • How to practice emotional intelligence skills in the critical relationships in your life    

 • Fun and easily implemented techniques to help regulate emotions and help your students thrive  

As you begin to uncover who you truly are, you'll feel more empowered to make healthy choices and positive changes that will help you thrive in your personal and professional lives.  Watch how these skills transform you and the world around you!  

Upon completion of this course, you are eligible for 1 graduate or relicensure credit through Courses4Teachers. (additional cost)

• 8 hours of Zoom training (4 hours each day) 

• 7 hours of Self-Guided Work (pre-work, work between Zoom sessions, and post-work due by June 16th)
