Eden Rowland

Mindful Education Instructor

Eden was born and raised in Colorado and moved to Cedar Falls as a teenager. During this transition, she first discovered yoga and fell in love with the impact it had on her life. After graduating high school, she began exploring her passion for sustainability and holistic health. She served two terms as an Environmental and Sustainability Educator with Green Iowa AmeriCorps, where she discovered her love for working with young children and began integrating mindfulness and movement practices into her garden lessons with elementary schools.

Eden is now a member of the Nourish Iowa Vista Project serving with the UNI Local Food Team in Black Hawk County. She enjoys teaching yoga to children at a daycare in Waverly, advancing her knowledge as a Master Gardener, and spending time with her partner and three children.

MY NOBLE GOAL:

To soften, and in the stillness, surrender to the movement of magic becoming and unbecoming through us all. To be who I am and to love those around me through my own willingness to be messy, wild, earnest and raw.
