Marion, Iowa is where I call home and reside with my husband and 18 year old son who will soon be moving to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University. I retired from the Iowa City School District this past school year, 2024, where I taught Gifted and Talented elementary students. Teaching and working with young people has always been my passion and what brings me joy. Outside of teaching, my interest lies in living a healthy lifestyle whether that is moving my body with various physical exercises or seeking out healthy recipes to prepare for my family.
