Nurses that participate in Yoga Programs are seen in studies to have less stress.
A study that followed 120 nurses over the course of a 6-month yoga program found that the group of nurses who participated in 50-60 minutes of yoga 2 times per week reported significantly less stress than those in the control group. Yoga helps to build resilience and compassion with healthcare workers.
Following an 8-week yoga program, a group of 43 healthcare workers provided significant improvements in the areas of personal accomplishment, depression, anxiety, stress, perceived resilience, and compassion. What Medical Professionals Are Saying

Yoga helps to combat burnout and stress.
+ Healthcare professionals have been faced with many extreme challenges over the last two years. I believe mindfulness tools and yoga practice can help prevent burnout by giving healthcare workers the tools to help manage stress, increase focus and boost our moods. We provide the best care when we feel our best. -Ashley, RN

Yoga helps to provide a positive mindset.
+ As stressful as things are and have been in the medical field, I think this is a great tool for healthcare workers to use at work to be able to get back into a good mindset and at home to decompress from the long days. I know I look forward to Saturdays classes to know that I get an hour to myself to reset and be able to start the next week out on a good foot! -Mollie F, CST

Yoga helps to promote relaxation.
+ We are on our feet all day and under stress frequently. Yoga is a way of strengthening and teaching relaxation. Â -Brenda P, RN
